A Community Touchdown for Hunger Relief: Friday Knights Hunger Bowl Exceeds Its Goal!

Our first-ever Friday Knights Hunger Bowl in Gibson County was a resounding success — thanks to the generosity, teamwork, and friendly rivalry of the Princeton Knights of Columbus #1131, Haubstadt Knights of Columbus #2215, the Gibson Southern Titans, and the Princeton Tigers.

Together, this spirited community raised $3,349 — surpassing our $3,000 goal — to support the St. Vincent de Paul Evansville Food Pantry and our mission to provide food and essential assistance to families in need.

The Hunger Bowl brought together faith, fellowship, and football — a celebration of community that reminded us that when neighbors unite with purpose, incredible things happen. Every dollar raised translates directly into meals for local families, helping to ease the burden of hunger and restore hope in difficult times.

We are deeply grateful to our partners in this effort — the Knights of Columbus councils, the student athletes, their coaches, and the Gibson County community — for answering the call to serve others with such enthusiasm and heart.

Thank you for proving that compassion can be just as powerful as competition. Here’s to many more years of Friday Knights Hunger Bowls — and to the shared victories that make our communities stronger.

💛 St. Vincent de Paul Evansville — feeding hope, one family at a time.
