Welcome to Jennifer Gieselman

The District of Evansville Society of St. Vincent de Paul is thrilled to announce Ms. Jennifer Gieselman as our new Thrift Store Manager. Ms. Gieselman has had years of experience as a certified medical assistant and paralegal. Those experiences helped refine her skills in organization, communication, and compassion – all of which she brings with her into this ministry.

In August of 2024, Ms. Gieselman brought her talents to the St. Vincent de Paul Thrift Store, hiring on as a sales floor associate. By June of 2025, she had worked her way to Assistant Manager. The love and dedication she brings to the team and to the Thrift Store is readily evident when you walk through the store.

She was raised in a United Methodist family and currently attends Noel United Methodist Church in Santa Claus, Indiana, where her son, Cory Gieselman, serves as pastor. She has three wonderful adult children and five beloved grandchildren which are the joy of her life.

When asked about her new role as Manager, Ms. Gieselman said, “Faith is my guide. I am proud to be part of an organization where mission and ministry come together and make a real difference. I believe that faith should be lived, not merely professed. I now have the honor of using my gifts to bless others –walking daily in faith, stewardship, and service.”

Since being appointed to the role, she works closely with the thrift store team to cultivate a work environment grounded in understanding their collective purpose: to serve as the hands and feet of Christ by offering hope, security, and acceptance to our neighbors. We are incredibly grateful that Ms. Gieselman has agreed to give us her time, talents and focus to this noble mission.
