Fr. Paul Nord, OSB

Fr. Paul Nord, OSB, has been a monk of Saint Meinrad Archabbey since 2002. Following graduation from Rose Hulman Institute, Fr. Paul worked as a Chemical Engineer in Terre Haute and Chicago before beginning priesthood formation at Saint Meinrad in 1999 and was ordained in 2007.

He did his Biblical studies at the Pontifical Biblical Institute in Rome and spent one semester at the Hebrew University in Jerusalem. He is a member of the Catholic Biblical Association.

A native of Huntingburg, Indiana, Fr. Paul’s family has lived in the local area around Saint Meinrad since 1844. He has family members who were members of both Saint Meinrad Archabbey and Monastery Immaculate Conception in Ferdinand, Indiana.


Sr. Doris Clippard, DC

Sr. Doris Clippard, DC, has been a Daughter of Charity of St. Vincent de Paul since 1993.  She currently lives with the Sisters at the Mater Dei campus in Evansville, Indiana.

Sr. Doris received her Master’s in Nursing from Marquette University, Milwaukee.  She has a Bachelor’s in Ministry Formation from Brescia College (now University) in Owensboro, KY.

Sr. Doris has been a nurse practitioner for over 20 years and currently works as needed at the Toyota plant in Princeton, Indiana.  She is also adjunct nursing faculty at the University of Southern Indiana.

Sr. Doris has brothers in Murfreesboro, Tennessee.  She has served on missions in Milwaukee, Indianapolis, Nashville, El Paso and San Antonio.

Special Instructions

Pull into the property between the two brick columns. If the gate is closed, wait at the gate until it opens. Parking is available on the road that wraps around the back (west) side of the building and in the small parking lot on the southeast side of the building. See the photo on the website.

Attendees will have an opportunity to make a donation to help offset retreat costs for the meeting space, meal, and speaker stipend.
