3rd Annual Ton of Toys – Toy Drive

The Society of St. Vincent de Paul – Evansville District Council is partnering with WIKY 104 FM on the 3rd annual Ton of Toys Program to help provide toys and gifts for the children of those experiencing financial difficulties.

How can you get involved?

  • Bring a new, unwrapped toy during normal business hours to either the Lucas Oil Center on North Green River Road or West Lloyd Expressway, or German American Bank lobby in Evansville and Newburgh beginning Monday, November 23, 2020. The last day for donating at the German American Bank locations is Friday, December 11. Donations will be accepted at the Lucas Oil Centers through Sunday, December 13.
  • Make a $20 (or amount of your choosing) to help us with Tons of Toys!  You can complete the form below – safe & secure online giving (your donation is also tax-deductible).

How does the process work for the family needing assistance?

Families need to be referred by a member or volunteer of St. Vincent de Paul. The phone number to call is (812)425-3485. Information on shopping days and hours, directions, and a copy of the completed voucher will be emailed or mailed to the family requesting assistance for Christmas shopping.

Who can participate?

Only children under the age of 18 may be registered for participation and must reside in Gibson, Posey, Vanderburgh or Warrick counties. Families may not be registered with any other Christmas toy giveaway program. Requests must be submitted to St. Vincent de Paul by Dec. 14.

Thank you so much to all who donated to our 3rd Annual Ton of Toys toy drive! We have had a tremendous response. Even though we are no longer accepting any more donations for this year, you can still bring joy to someone and have a positive influence on our community by assisting in other ways. If you choose to make a gift to our crisis fund, food pantry or district council, it will help our local community members during this trying time with rent and utility payments, food and other expenses.
